About Mindfulness and Yoga Therapy

Mamta Bhatt earned an advanced diploma in Yoga Therapy and Mindfulness in 2010, from “The Yoga Institute”, which is a renowned institution for learning yoga in Mumbai, India. Mamta Bhatt has conducted yoga and mindfulness workshops internationally for helping interested people learn skills to maintain a lifestyle based on the core philosophy of yoga and mindfulness traditions to attain physical, mental and spiritual well-being. Mamta Bhatt presented a paper, “Bhavas, Health and Yoga Therapy” at the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) conference held in Monterey, CA, USA in 2011. She taught yoga at the YMCA in Mississauga between 2012-2017 as a volunteer and was nominated as the best volunteer in the Peel region in 2014.

Mamta Bhatt uses skills and interventions from mindfulness and yoga traditions to help her clients enjoy physical and mental well-being at Candlestick.
